Fancy Florals Themed Thursday at Wine Knot Sky Bar & Lounge: Get ready for an un-bud-lievable night! Iron and Wine at Wilson Center: Famous Indie-Folk artist Iron and Wine is gracing the Wilson Center this week at 7:30pm! Carolina native Sam Beam will be taking the stage to share some of the songs from his newest full-length album, ‘Light Verse.’
Fiesta Fridays: Kizomba Edition at Wilmington Latin Dance: Looking for a great workout and a great time? Look no further! $1 Pint Night: Wilmington Earth Day Festival Fundraiser: Join the Wilmington Earth Day Alliance this Friday from 5 to 8 pm at the Venue at Wilmington Brewing Company to help raise money for the Wilmington Earth Day Festival! $1 from every pint of Taco Life will be donated to the festival.

Grab Your Boots! at Coastal Therapeutic Riding Program: Saddle up and strap on your boots, Urban Cowboy! The Coastal Therapeutic Riding Program, a local nonprofit, is partnering with Wilmington NC Line Dancing for an afternoon of workshops and free dance. Some of the highlights of the night will include a best-dressed contest, vendors, a raffle and auction, and more!
Carolina Beach State Park Cleanup: Be a Part of Something Meaningful at Carolina Beach State Park! This special cleanup event will kick off with a short but powerful educational program where you'll learn about the history of the Lily Pond and the rich ecology of Carolina Beach State Park. The Plastic Ocean Project is making a real impact—and they want YOU to be part of it.
Book and Plant Sale at Unitarian Universalist Congregation: Planning a cozy weekend in? The UUCW has just what you’re looking for! Riverfront Farmers Market Opening Day at Dock Street: Stock up on the very best local goods Wilmington has to offer with the opening day of the Riverfront Farmers Market! Local artisans, coffee, produce, seafood, and more will be available from 8am-1pm on Dock Street. Admission is free!
Wilmington Dance Festival at UNCW Kenan Auditorium: Witness the performances of local and nationally recognized collaborators with the Wilmington Dance Festival. Local dancers and choreographers will perform a variety of styles of dance, including ballet, hip-hop, and African dance.
Rock the Spectrum: ROCK the Spectrum while raising funds and awareness for the Autism Society of North Carolina! Expect a day full of live music, awesome raffles, vendors, Bad Eatz and the Daily Scoop food trucks, and the talent of our local musicians! The music starts at 12 and doesn't stop til 6! Georgia Breweries Tap Takeover at Fermental: Head down south for a taste of Georgia at Fermental! This event is family-friendly and pet-friendly and will feature Georgia draft lines, live music, food trucks, and more. Free parking will be available in the Cargo District from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Taylor Swift Skate at Scooters Family Skating Center: Are you a Swiftie at heart? Don’t worry, so is the Scooters Family Skating Center! Locally filmed TV show ‘The Waterfront’ to premiere June 19: ‘The Waterfront’, starring Melissa Benoist and Jake Weary, will be premiering on June 19. The drama will follow the story of a struggling family in the fishing industry and will feature familiar sights.
Three new businesses to call Independence Mall home: Forever21 is the most recent closure in Independence Mall, but three new businesses are moving in. Scuba Now, Boba N Latte, and Pasta Amori will all be opening this spring. Check them out today!
Local singer makes it to Top 42 on American Idol: Local singer Brooke Renshaw, known as the lead vocalist of local band Oc3ans, made it to the Top 42 on American Idol. You can catch her soulful rock covers in person this Friday at Tequila’s Waterfront where Oc3ans will perform as part of the sunset live music series.
Three Wilmington Beaches make Southern Living’s ‘Best Beach Towns’: Wrightsville Beach, Topsail Beach, and Oak Island were recently recognized as part of Southern Living’s roundup, “50 Best Beach Towns in the South 2025.” This recognition came on the heels of Wrightsville and Topsail Beaches being hailed as some of the most beautiful in the South.
