Thursday, December 12th
Christmas with C.S. Lewis: Encounter the fascinating life of C.S. Lewis as he hosts a Christmas Eve party in this emotion and laughter-filled play. 7:30pm at the Kenan Auditorium.
Wilmington Wine Open Mic: From 6:30pm to 9:30pm at Wilmington Wine on Castle Street. Bring your singing voice and instrument of choice, or sit back and enjoy the tunes!
Christmas Market at the Marina District: There can never be too much holiday shopping! Head over to Marina Grill from 6pm to 9pm for Cool Beans Coffee Truck, various handmade goodies, jewelry, crafts, and more local vendors!
Christmas Girls Night Out at The Hideaway Boutique: Shop clothing, stocking stuffers, jewelry (including permanent jewelry), and more! Spend some time with the ladies from 4pm to 7pm
FleaBody’s Christmas Open House: Swing by Flea Body’s Antique Mall and Auction House from 5pm to 7:30pm for snacks, drinks, and sales on must-have vintage items. This event is perfect for gift shopping and collectors alike!
Friday, December 13th
Christmas Party at the Rusty Nail: Live music, snacks, and Christmas fun starting at 8pm!
Kure Beach Holiday Whoobie Whatty: Wear your best Whoville attire for Grinch-themed holiday festivities! Head over to Ocean Front Park from 6pm to 8pm for a viewing of Jim Carrey’s “How The Grinch Stole Christmas,” Food Trucks, Face painting, popcorn, cookie decorating, grinch crafts, and more!
Silent Night Disco at Carolina Beach Pier: Purchase your tickets online now for a night of sandy feet and groovy beats! Carolina Beach’s Holiday-themed silent disco will be running from 6pm to 8pm with check-in starting at 5:15. Your ticket will include wireless headphones, and food and drink will be available for purchase!
Coast Poetry Jam: For lovers of art, written word, and comedy, tickets are only $20 for this poetry event supporting local talent and performers from 7pm to 10pm.
Sport City Holiday Social at Flying Machine: Head over to Flying Machine Brewery between 6:30pm and 9pm for a casual holiday social get-together with Brooklyn Pizza, raffle giveaways, and more!
Saturday, December 14th
Second Saturday Night Market: Hosted at Malama Cafe from 6pm to 8pm featuring several local pop-up shops, live music, and holiday drinks and mocktails!
Holiday Craft Market in the Gardens: From 9am to 3pm browse 30+ booths of local handmade goodies at Burgwin-Wright House & Gardens, with vendors scattered throughout the Gardens, perfect for a scenic shopping trip! From 5pm to 9pm come back for a Holiday Open House, a free event with live music, crafts, and dressed up interpreters.
Holiday Pop Culture Fest at Waterline Brewing: Shop nerdy crafts and goodies including items such as comic books, Pokémon cards, movies, Vinyls, and other local artists! This event runs from 11am to 3pm, and is free to enter!
S’mores With Santa at Old McFaye’s Farm: Bring your kids for s’mores, hot chocolate, pony rides, and a hay ride with Santa from 10:30 to 12:30! Reservations are requested, with payment ($20 for kids, $5 for adults) taken over Venmo.
Winterfest Flotilla Watch Party in Southport: enjoy music, dancing, and incredible views from the River Hotel in Southport. Bring your friends for the complimentary hot chocolate bar and 360 degree Photo Booth! From 6pm to 10pm.
Elf Movie Night at Carolina Beach Lake Park: Bring your beach chairs and favorite Christmas sweaters for a showing of the beloved movie “Elf.” As a bonus, make sure to bring your kids to meet and take pictures with the snow queen! The movie starts right around 5pm!
Sunday, December 15th
Wilmington’s Handcrafted Holiday Market: From 12pm to 4pm featuring local food trucks, craft beverages, fresh coffee, live music, and tons of small businesses!
Carols and Cocoa at Port City Community Church: Celebrate the Holidays with cookies, cocoa and your singing voice on the Patio at PC3! The event runs from 5pm to 6pm.
The Cargo District Winter Festival: From 12pm to 8pm Food, drinks, music, ornament painting, wreath making, flash tattoos, fairy hair, and holiday sales from 20+ small businesses at Burning Pages Bookstore!
Local Art and Vintage Holiday Market at Seagate Bottle Shop: Family and pet friendly market featuring Wilmington’s favorite local art for your last-minute Christmas shopping! Grab a brew or wine from 1pm to 5pm!
Christmas Car Meet: The perfect event for car lovers from 12pm to 3pm at Fireball Protective Film and Tint. Bring a new and packaged toy for the Toys for Tots drive, and your friends or family for an extra dose of Christmas spirit!
Full Moon Affair, A Celestial Celebration: Join the Oceanic and their celebration of the “Cold Moon” with special menu items including bar bites and cocktails, all while watching the moon rise over the ocean! From 7pm to 9pm.

📻It’s a Wonderful Life - A Live Radio Play: Running from Thursday to Sunday this weekend and next, Ruth and Bucky Stein Theatre present the classic “It’s a Wonderful Life” as a radio broadcast from the 1940s. Be a part of the “studio audience” as the town of Bedford Falls is brought to life by five actors! Shows are at 7:30pm with 3pm shows on Sundays.
