  • Guy Barnum at the Dead Crow Comedy Room: An Emmy Award and Golden Globe-winning writer will be at the Dead Crow Comedy Room with shows at 7pm and 9:30pm today and Saturday! Grab your tickets now!

  • Live Comedy at The Penthouse: Head over to the Penthouse on N Front Street for a 21+ night of stand up comedy on the rooftop! Get your tickets (only $13) online! From 8pm to 10pm.

  • MOOSE Lodge 343 Bingo: Looking for a fun night of Bingo? Every Friday, the Moose Lodge 343 opens up to the public for a night bingo with friends. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. $2500 total payout

  • Galentine’s Night Out at My Sister’s Cottage: From 5:30pm to 7pm enjoy some treats, friendship, permanent jewelry, and live watercolor portraits at My Sister’s Cottage.

  • Sweetheart Swing Dance at Hannah Block: Hosted by the Cape Fear Swing Dance Society, and not limited to just sweethearts! Tickets are $10 at the door with a complementary lesson beginning at 6:30pm, and the Dance from 7:30pm to 10pm!

  • Intro to Weaving Workshop at Leland Parks and Rec: A two-week event begins this Saturday! From 10am to 2pm learn techniques for weaving and a variety of styles. Register online now!

  • Bubbles and Blooms Galentines Bouquet Bar: Head over to Blooms and Branches Nursery on Oleander for a fun-filled afternoon of sparkling wine and tons of flowers! Your ticket will include access to a bloom bar, tips to making a beautiful paper wrapped bouquet, and wine tastings! From 2:30pm to 4:30pm.

  • My Fuzzy Valentine Photo Day and Pet Kissing Booth: From 12pm to 4pm at Einstein’s Canine College celebrate your furry friends with a Pet Kissing Booth and a professional mini photo session! Grab one of the limited spots now!

  • Galentines Paint and Bracelet Party: Ages 8+ are welcome to enjoy an afternoon of creativity with all supplies and instruction included with ticket purchase (special mommy and me discounts available)! From 12pm to 2pm at Upstairs Hampstead!

  • Galentines Sip and Shop at the Busy Bloom Co: Goodies, snacks, photo backdrop, and permanent jewelry (Tiny Weld Permanent Jewelry) will be at the Busy Bloom from 1pm to 5pm! Enjoy a Galentine’s Afternoon out!

  • Valentine’s Day Market at The Bend: Have some Valentine’s shopping you want to get done? From 12pm to 4pm at The Bend enjoy shopping from tons of local, and small businesses, as well as good eats, craft beers and cocktails, and live music!

  • Chili Cook-Off at Leland Brewing Company: Think you have the best chili? Sign up online to either bring a pot of chili (for a chance to win prizes) or come to taste and vote! From 4pm to 5:30pm!

  • Super Bowl Sunday at South Front Tavern: Opening at 10am on Sunday, South Front Tavern has your Super Bowl festivities covered!! Pregame, drink specials, full menu, tailgate cornhole, and large-screen TVs with surround sound!

  • Super Bowl Watch Party at The Eagle’s Dare: Hosted by Wanderlust Wilmington with food from Dough House Pizza Co! Get your tickets now for Super Bowl Festivities and giveaways starting at 6:30pm!

🏈 UNCW Grad Wins Doritos Super Bowl Ad Contest (and $1 Dollar Prize): After filming a 30 second ad in under 12 hours, UNCW grad Dylan Bradshaw and co-director Nate Norell have officially won the Dorito 25th Super Bowl Ad Competition! With the money, the filmmakers plan to invest their prize money back into furthering their careers as well as donating some to the LA wildfire victims. They have thanked the Port City and NC for supporting and voting for them as well as stating they are proud to be Seahawks!

📑Community Shredding at Leland Brewing Company This Saturday: Grab those old papers that you have lying around and finally get them shredded! This event is 100% free, running from 2pm to 5pm on Saturday at Leland Brewing Company (sponsored by Leland Notary Services). If you have old documents that need to be securely disposed of, don’t miss it!

🎤 The Black Keys No Rain No Flowers Tour At Live Oak Bank Pavilion: Popular Ohio blues-rock band known for “Lonely Boy” and “Howlin’ For You” will be at the Live Oak Bank Pavilion on June 11! Tickets go live this Friday (the 7th) at 10am! The Blank Keys have released a dozen albums and have ranked on Billboard 200 and The Rolling Stone’s list of the greatest albums of the 2000s!
