  • MT Bottles Trivia at Waterline: If you were thinking that your weekend lineup is missing the Three Bā€™sā€¦. MT Bottles agrees! Join them for trivia at 7pm for Beer, Bacon, and Basketball!

  • Emmet Cahill Concert at Thalian Hall: Who says you need to wait until St. Patrickā€™s day to add a little gold to your pot? Check out the ā€œgolden voice of the generationā€, Irish singer Emmett Cahill in concert at Thalian Hall.

  • Line Dancing at Lazy Pirate: Get your boot-scoot-boogie on at Lazy Pirate! Starting back for the season tonight, line dancing lessons and open dance begin at 7pm every Thursday. Participation is free!

  • Coastal Paws Family and Friends Appreciation Sale: After 9 years of serving the pets of Wilmington, Coastal Paws will be closing their door. Support their final hurrah in the community by showing out at the Friends and Family Appreciation Sale. Drop by from 4-8pm at 108 N. Front Street (corner of Princess).

  • The Dominican Jazz Project at Cameron Arts Museum: Add a little culture to your weekend with the Dominican Jazz Project at CAM. Event prices vary by membership status and the event begins at 7pm!

  • Elevate and Celebrate at Eagleā€™s Dare: Join a group of cool ladies for a fun time at Eagleā€™s Dare tonight from 6-8pm. Hosted by WILMA Magazine, this free event aims to help local women build genuine connections. There will be a free mini bouquet bar, a DJ, dancing, and more!

  • Marcella Arguello at Dead Crow Comedy Club: Looking for a laugh? So is Marcella Arguello. Catch her Friday and Saturday at the Dead Crow Comedy Club. Her show times are 7pm and 9:30pm both days. Doors open at 6pm ā€” tickets are still available so grab yours now!

  • Sidewalk Sale at Salty Chic Boutique: Salty Chic is having their biggest sale of the year on apparel, shoes, pocketbooks, and more in addition to new arrivals! Stop by and stock up for summer from 10am-6pm at the Carolina Beach location.

  • Folkknot Spring Tour at The Bend: Always wanted to see a seafaring six-piece band? Lucky for you, this is exactly how this NC native band describes their sound! Pop out and see them this Friday at 7pm. Grab an Eastside Sub while youā€™re there!

  • Speakeasy & Prohibition Walking Tour: Head back to the roaring 20s for a guided Speakeasy and Prohibition Walking Tour beginning at The Ivey to tour some of Wilmingtonā€™s most coveted spots from the era. Tickets are available now and do not include beverages.

Tides Taproom ā€” Wilmingtonā€™s New Favorite Sports Bar

Tides Taproom certainly deserves a warm welcome this week as we usher in spring weather and the summer season! Located in the Cargo District in the former Bull City Ciderworks building, Tides is here to bring you everything you love most.

The space has been transformed into a sports bar with pool tables, dart boards, skee ball, table-top games, and a plethora of TVs just in time for March Madness. Whether a beer, cider, seltzer, or something nonalcoholic is what youā€™re looking for ā€“ Tides has it. Stop by for the game, a beverage, and a bite from a local foodtruck!

A Total Lunar Eclipse Will be Seen from Wilmington: For the first time in over three years, a total lunar eclipse will be visible in Wilmington the night of March 13th into early March 14th. This event will be visible to the naked eye so keep an eye on the sky!

Wilmington-Shot Film in Theaters April 4: The Wilmington-shot directorial debut of actor Michael Shannon, ā€œEric LaRueā€, is set to be showing in theaters beginning April 4.
