Costume Party at Might as Well: Wear your best costume for some 21+ fun hosted by DJ Quay.
Karaoke and Costume Contest at Whiskey Tango Foxtrot: Free to participate, with drinks available to purchase. Bring your friends for some fun and $2 Jell-O shots or Dracula’s Margarita!

Fall Festival and Trunk-or-Treat: Looking for some fun for the whole family? New Hanover Church is hosting their annual Trunk or Treat and Fall Festival with fun mini games and enough candy to last until Christmas! Grab your kids and come by between 6pm and 8pm!
“Schtick Or Treat” Stand-Up Spooktacular: This FREE show at Dead Crow Comedy Club features Wilmington’s very own stand-ups performing as Famous & Infamous comedians both dead & undead.
Friday, November 1st
Wilmington Run Club: The November location is SUNday’s Surf Cafe in Wrightsville Beach (runners enjoy a discounted drink as a post-run treat). The run starts at 6:30am and features multiple pace groups!
Coastal Carolina Clay Guild Holiday Show and Sale: Open reception from 5pm to 8pm featuring hand crafted pottery, perfect for that early Christmas gift shopping! Swing by for Wine, Beer, bites, and live music!
Cape Fear Kite Festival: Free at Fort Fisher State Recreation Area and all along the Carolina Beach Boardwalk starting at dusk. Enjoy an illuminated kite show, live music, activities, and bites!
Aces for Angels: From 6pm to 10:30pm, Casino Night (for $150 per participant) at Terraces on Sir Tyler supporting kids with special health care needs. Open bar and Silent Auction are also included!
“Frogs & Friends” Conservation Art by Jessie Robertson: Art show in Bloom Gallery starting at 10am (running through December). Multimedia artist Jessie Robertson’s piece on diverse frog species kicks off the Holiday season at Bloom Gallery with over 30 rotating pieces straight from art studios across Wilmington!

St. Stanislaus Polish Festival: Harbour Towne Fest Band, polka dancing, incredible Polish bites, and St. Stans Baltic Porter brewed by Front St. Brewery, from 11am to 5pm at St. Stanislaus Church

🎬 Grant Money Brings More Film Productions to the Wilmington Area: Three films are currently in production in Wilmington, bringing the current number of productions in North Carolina to 6, and the number of Jobs to 8,500. You may run across the set of “The Runarounds,” “The Waterfront,” or “Capsized” while you’re out and about!
🍩 Brand New Dunkin’ Donuts Location Offers the First 100 Customers Free Coffee for a Year: Dunkin’ Donuts opened a new location on College Rd (in a building formerly a bank) on October 29th. They offered their first 100 customers free coffee for an entire year! Next time your commute takes you down College Rd, swing by for a drink or sweet treat!
🚦Removal of Red Light Cameras Across Wilmington: The 13 red light cameras across Wilmington were part of a 4-year and 7-month agreement, which will be expiring in June of 2025. Wilmington is the last city in North Carolina to maintain red light cameras, as they have shown to be ineffective in reducing traffic and end up costing taxpayer dollars. The current deal with American Traffic Solutions will expire in June and not be renewed.
