🚦Removal of Red Light Cameras Across Wilmington: The 13 red light cameras across Wilmington were part of a 4-year and 7-month agreement, which will be expiring in June of 2025. Wilmington is the last city in North Carolina to maintain red light cameras, as they have shown to be ineffective in reducing traffic and end up costing taxpayer dollars.
