🌉 Cape Fear Memorial Bridge Replacement and Front Street Project: Your feedback is wanted for two upcoming projects. Check online to see how to submit your feedback! The North Carolina Department of Transportation is considering three different options to remodel the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge, as well as all funding options (currently including the implement of a toll). These models include fixed, and movable structures, and involve reworking the roads in and out of Wilmington. Additionally, the NCDT is exploring the idea of upgrading South Front Street from two to four lanes, and adding a median. All plans will be discussed at the upcoming community meeting.
